A sports drink with noticeable effects, Vitargo®+ELECTROLYTE contains the unique patented Vitargo® with added minerals. With Vitargo®+ELECTROLYTE you can ensure, in an effective way, the right blood sugar level and mineral balance during training/competition whilst restoring glycogen levels, mineral and fluid balance in the body after an activity.
Vitargo®+ELECTROLYTE has a low osmolality and is an ultra-hypotonic sport drink, i.e. the drink passes quickly through the stomach into the small intestine where the uptake of fluid and energy occurs.
Vitargo®+ELECTROLYTE contains the following mineral salts: Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium.
The function of minerals in the body Sodium and Potassium:
regulates the fluid balance in the blood and tissues, which is important for energy renewal and muscle contractions. Calcium: Important for nerve and muscle cell functions, as well as preventing the reduction of calcium levels in the bones. Magnesium: Low magnesium levels results in lower metabolism, decreased stamina and increases muscle cramps.
Carboloader or +ELECTROLYTE?
Which sport drink should I choose? With or without added minerals? During shorter training sessions/competition a mineral supplement is not needed as a normal diet more than satisfies this requirement. However if one is to undertake hard physical activity, during longer periods of time where one sweats heavily, a mineral supplement can be required to maintain the mineral balance and thereby prevent amongst other things muscle cramp. Mineral supplements can also be required when the physical activity occurs in extremely hot conditions.
PREPARATION:
Fill a third of a bottle (~200mls) with water and add the powder.
Shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
Then top up with water (total solution 750 mls).
(If you want you can whisk the powder down into a bowl with the water, stir for 1-2 minutes.) Pour into your drink's bottle. Drink and enjoy!
Tips:
Wash all utensils directly after use to ensure that the Vitargo solution doesn't dry, causing stickiness. The same goes for your drink's bottle. Wash and rinse thoroughly after use.
It is widely known that bacteria and fungus enjoy growing in carbohydrate solutions, so wash the bottle thoroughly.
Should you want a stronger/weaker taste or consistency, you just add more or less water.
Never add sugar or other kind of simple carbohydrates to your Vitargo drink.

Barley starch, acidity regulator (citric acid), tri sodium citrate, calcium gluconate, magnesium gluconate natural flavour, potassium gluconate, sweeteners (aspartame, acesulfame-K), colour (Betacarotene). Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
